Prize "Action for Women"

September 3, 2010, during Venice's 67th Film Festival, "Goodbye Mama" received the "Action for Women" prize during a ceremony at the Palazzo del Cinema's Sala Pasinetti.The movie was written, directed, produced and starring Michelle Bonev and her movie production Romantica Entertainment.
The prize was awarded by the Italian Cultural Ministry during the celebration of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedom anniversary.
The film was screened after the ceremony in the presence of members of the cast. Goodbye Mama is an intense family drama seen through women's eyes, the story of four women (mother, two daughters and a grandmother), and their conflicts, social barriers, and the problem of abandonment of the elderly.
The story spans across 40 years, from the 60s to the present.
